Some patrons note that peak hours can lead to a longer wait time for tables, especially on weekends. This may deter those looking for a quick bite during their lunch break. The casual co-managerial approach might make some feel that service is not as fast-paced as they would like when the restaurant is busy. A few customers have also mentioned that gluten-free options could be more diverse. Although the menu offers a range of dishes, those with specific dietary needs might find it slightly limited.
Spent a lunch time with a friend- super attentive staff. I had to wait for the friend and the staff were all very reassuring- highly recommend. The food is special and exquisite- an experience of art more than anything!
Absolutely loved this place. V busy when we arrived, but we sat at the bar and had a drink. Watched the staff making elaborate and delicious looking cocktails, whilst chatting to us. Would happily have sat there all day, taking in the atmosphere. Lovely decor, reminded me of Havana. And loads of lovely details, down to the pretty teaspoons with our coffee. The food was so good too. Had the Marrakech salad - a colourful mix of falafel, hummus, quinoa, crispy kale, asparagus and tender stem broccoli, with a few raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and blackberries too. Superb! Also had the veggie muffin, the chicken soft tacos and some skinny fries and gochujang sweet potato fries. All of it was tasty, freshly prepared and served up by really personable staff. Would travel to eat here! We are already figuring out how to come back as we live 90 mins away! Great veggie options, many of which could be vegan with tweaks.
Lunch was amazing, all the dishes we ordered were delicious, service was great, special shoutout to Greta who made our day - we were there to celebrate a birthday, birthday gal was very happy, mission accomplished! :)
The food was absolutely amazing! We tried the “Marrakesh” dish for the very first time and completely fell in love with it. Incredibly creative, and the presentation of the plates speaks for itself. We’ll definitely be coming back!
Visited “The Kitchen”on 6 September for the first time with friends (party of 4). It was very busy and there were no tables available as it was the start of lunchtime. We were met by Greta who informed us that she would get us a table asap but that we may have to wait about half an hour. We were offered seats at the bar in the meantime. There was a great atmosphere in the place and we were kept informed of progress and soon seated at our table. Staff were very attentive and took our drinks and food order. When the food arrived it was beautifully presented and did not disappoint. Everyone on the party thoroughly enjoyed their meal, so much so that we decided to return last Saturday (13th). Again we had to wait for a table but Oonagh made us very welcome and reactions from the waiting staff indicted that they remembered us from the previous week. Once again the food was delicious and we all agreed that “The Kitchen” will be our go to place for food anytime we are on Omagh. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
The most tastiest caesar salad I've ever had, so much flavours and every forkful is a suprise of different flavours and the fruit in it was so fresh and tasty, as I went into the toilets I sneaked a peak into the kitchen and I must say it was the cleanest kitchen i have seen for a working kitchen at lunch time, all food must of been stored correctly as very little food sitting out, well done the kitchen im in awe of you and your staff 👏 👏
